WPCS excels in forging good working relationships with its clients. We offer a pastoral support service that meets, and usually exceeds, expectations. This is achieved through careful negotiation and collaboration and we always aim to listen more than we speak!
It has been evidenced over a number of years that as chaplains work closely with support staff, management, directors and other employees, a bond of trust grows based on mutual respect and personnel needs.
In turn, this often helps to smooth potential areas of conflict or crisis before they arise through the chaplain’s independent counsel and total confidentiality.
WPCS currently works with large and small organisations in both the private and public sector and has working relationships and agreements with a number of other charities. In the retail sector, we work closely with shopping centre managers and stores to coordinate our chaplaincy service to all shop staff.
With Councils we collaborate on pastoral support for staff and when invited, produce chaplaincy events such as memorial services or nativity plays to enhance community wellbeing. With emergency services we may get involved in staff training exercises to build relationships as well as offering practical and pastoral support to staff.
Chaplains are trained in the art of ‘not getting in the way’, and will always strengthen and compliment business relationships. In the modern business community of Scotland today, Work Place Chaplaincy Scotland can play a major part in helping you to look after your personel while maximising your business potential.
