Our recent Introduction events in Edinburgh and Arbroath drew more than 20 people from right across Scotland.

Central Scotland Regional Organiser Paul Wilson was delighted with the response to the Edinburgh Introduction Day in the Edinburgh Theological Seminary on the Mound : “We had 15 folks attending, from various church backgrounds across the Central belt from the Edinburgh and Glasgow areas, Stirling, Falkirk, Fife and Perth,” he explained. “It was another successful Introduction Day with nine of the attendees indicating they are interested in volunteering. We’d like to thank those who came and showed real interest and enthusiasm for workplace chaplaincy and for those staff who both presented and supported on the day.

There was a similarly positive atmosphere at our Introduction Evening in Arbroath on Monday. East of Scotland Regional Organiser Chic Lidstone tells us: “It was a fun, fast-paced interactive evening where we understood the shape and scope of WPCS, as well what a chaplain does and the skills and abilities needed.Seven people attended and we had five chaplains supporting the evening in St Andrews Church, Arbroath. It was great to make new friends and support people in their exploration of what the next step in Christian service may be in their lives.”
