Here is a simple poem, attributed to various authors including Spike Milliagn. In its simplicity it actually says quite a lot; if you think about it!
Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile, then I realised its worth.
A single smile, just like mine could travel round the earth.
So, if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected!
I hope that made you smile! If it did pass it on; as well as other good things like encouragement, a good word and respect. Not discouragement and grumpyness.
What other good things do you have that could be “passed on”?
We’re here to listen and encourage and maybe help you smile, so get in touch if you want.
