Rev Iain McFadzean delivers confidentiality training.

WPCS training sets the bar extremely high and is highly regarded. As part of our rolling programme of training, new and potential new chaplains attended WPCS’s training sessions on Confidentiality and Bereavement, in Dundee’s Central Baptist Church on Thursday, April 24.

Listening, in confidence, is a key chaplaincy skill and Chief Executive Rev Iain McFadzean’s presentation aimed to equip chaplains with the ability to operate confidently, offering appropriate levels of confidentiality.
The afternoon training session, on bereavement, was delivered by WPCS West of Scotland Organiser, Rev Jack Quinn. The workshop was aimed at giving chaplains the necessary understanding to enable them to support people experiencing bereavement. As with the morning session, chaplains engaged in insightful discussion and thought-provoking exercises.
